Two things make a company nervous about this category: where the customer list ends up, and what an AI is allowed to send without being asked. Here are straight answers to both, including the part most vendors are vague about.
We'll be direct, because the industry usually isn't. The work that moves through InkIQ — the enquiries, the quotes, the artwork decisions, the corrections you make — is what teaches the system to do this job well. An agent that has never seen how a real order goes wrong cannot handle a real order. That is the trade, and it is the reason InkIQ understands this industry in a way a general-purpose model never will.
It does not mean your data becomes visible. Your customer list, your pricing, your margins, your artwork and your order history are never shown to another company, never sold as a record, and never reproduced as output to anyone outside your account. What improves is the system's judgement. What stays private is your business.
Every record carries the account it belongs to, and queries are scoped at the data layer rather than trusted to the interface. One customer's catalogue, price tables and art library are not reachable from another's session.
Demand signals come from patterns across the network — what the channel is asking for, which categories are moving, what gets specified and can't be filled. It is reported as market-level movement, never as a named company's figures. You see where the market is going. You do not see, and nobody sees, what any individual business did.
Margins, costs, payroll and financial reports sit behind roles. A press operator clocking into a job doesn't see what the job made, and the interface doesn't merely hide it — the server won't send it.
Anything that reaches a customer, changes a price or creates a record can require a human click. In autonomous mode the agent still stops and asks when it hits a decision it hasn't been given a rule for.
Every action the AI takes is logged with what it did, when, on whose behalf, and what it read to decide. If a customer ever asks why they got a particular email, you can answer precisely.
Customers, orders, quotes, artwork and financial history export in standard formats. Getting your business out of InkIQ is a function in the product, not a negotiation.
Compliance
We'd rather tell you the current state than imply certifications we don't hold. Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, per-tenant isolation and audit logging are in the product today. Formal certification work is on the roadmap, and we'll give you the current status and timeline in writing during procurement rather than in a badge on a website.
Everything on this page is written into the agreement, including how your data is used and what it is never used for. If your security team needs to review something specific — data residency, sub-processors, retention, deletion, incident response — ask, and you'll get a document rather than a sales answer.
